‼️‼️‼️ WAITLIST INFO ‼️‼️‼️ How it works- You contact us to discuss your preferences on a litter in regards to coloration, temperament, and coat type. We will ask questions regarding your knowledge of the breed, daily life, and ask you to review our contract requirements and pricing structures to see if that is something you’d like to still move forward with. If all goes well then we will move forward with helping you select a litter list that fits your requirements and general lifestyle! Once you confirm which list you’d like to be on you will then be asked to place a nonrefundable waitlist deposit. Once that is placed you’ve secured your spot on our waitlist. In the time between confirming our litter and puppies arrival we recommend you keeping back the remaining non refundable puppy deposit amount so that way when they arrive you are already prepared! I keep all of our waitlisters updated with confirmation of any changes, the timeline, breedings that have taken place and updates on momma through her pregnancy! Once puppies arrive- Once pups are here first and foremost we make sure everyone is stable and genetically tested! Once those come back I will then go down our waitlist in order and once contacted you’ll have 48 hours to make your puppy selection before I move on to the following waitlister. Once all waitlisters have been contacted and picks made any who were unable to be reached or couldn’t decide in time will then be contacted again to ensure they either want to wait for a later litter or pick from the current available. If I cannot reach you either time with the exception of notifying me of trips/ family emergencies you will then be removed from the waitlist entirely. Now the benefit of signing up for our waitlist! When you sign up for our waitlist and put your deposit down you will then get $100 off of your pups final purchase price as a Thankyou from us for considering joining the Silvermoon family prior to the pups arrival! We have set our pet pricing going forward for our cardigans. While this may seem like quite a bit to some I just want to provide some background each embark costs me $150 each, each pennhip & ofa for hips and elbows costs me $1100, each month per dog we do a $30 preventative along with $200ish a month in dog food and that’s not including basic necessities like toys, treats, enrichment, updating rabies once a year, testing and stud fees for each litter or initially purchasing our dogs from others. That said when you see our pricing and may think to yourself “oh that’s to much” keep in mind we are putting a lot into our program to ensure you get the most well rounded and healthy babies possible! We recently with the help of another breeder figured out a way to possibly get Bordis AKC registration corrected so in the meantime we decided to go ahead and keep her in the program as she’s an amazing mother, great overall temperamented girl, and great genetics/lines! With that said since we will be going ahead and keeping a girl from her after all and we have made a change to her lineup! Working with onyx’s breeder (Shadey Lane Corgis) we will be using her fluffy liver boy Hooch for Bordis summer litter! Now what that changes is this litter will be all livers, liver brindles, liver tricolors! They will also be all fluffys or fluffy carrier! Secondly we have our updates for our babies here at Silvermoon! We received back both phoebes and onyx’s embarks! The crazy good news is phoebes showed she actually carries the liver gene so we are extremely lucky there! Onyxs showed the initial company made an error in regards to his testing and he is dm carrier not clear but otherwise he came back correct for everything else we expected such as fluffy and liver carrier and non-Merle! We already spoke to his breeder to let her know of their error and everything is good! Just want to make sure not to use that company in the future unfortunately. (Animal genetics for anyone wondering!) Now going forward since Onyx and Bordi are both dm carrier they cannot be paired together and it leads me to a decision made with careful thought. This summers litter will be our last Bordi litter. We will not be keeping any babies off this litter and only first pick male is reserved currently. It is not easy to find a stud in cardigans with Bordi being an off standard coloration and CKC registered even with AKC lines. Therefore Bordi will be spayed after this summers litter and just be a pet only girl! It will also bring us an opportunity going forward to go with only AKC cardigans. We will be retaining two girls off of phoebe’s litter. First pick male is also currently reserved for this litter leaving two female and 3 male spots left. Now you may have noticed we did some stud changes with the information we’ve learned from our recent embarks! We are now pairing to King from the same breeder (Bleu Bayou’s Corgis) the sire of the male we were originally looking at for Bordi. Since Phoebe is Merle we decided to switch to King for a higher chance of fluffies and the opportunity to keep back liver & dilute carriers to further our program. Bordi is also switched to pair to Forrest as he is a great example of the breed and AKC as well! He will still produce with her all of the same genetics just a smaller chance of full fluffies and no Merle’s or mismarks this go!
